The History of Ensinger PolyTech, Inc.
Today, Ensinger PolyTech, Inc. represents the strong partnership between a subsidiary company of Ensinger Precision Components and PolyTech Industrial, an engineering firm acquired in 2022. As a global leader in expert plastic molding, Ensinger Precision Components and subsidiaries like Ensinger PolyTech, Inc. are focused on innovation and excellence in the plastics industry, continuously advancing beyond the competition in the value delivered to businesses in need.
PolyTech Industrial was founded in 2000 by Dan Cedrone having spent more than 37 years in the plastics industry. He started back in the early 80s in the “Family Plastics Distribution Business” as a warehouse hand, sweeping floors, managing inventory, and cutting stock shapes to size for local machine shops. In 2000, Dan decided to start PolyTech to help serve customers who needed a supplier that could help guide them through the complicated plastics industry and provide complete solutions, from concept to production.
In 2014, PolyTech expanded into its current state-of-the-art facility. PolyTech expanded into a 32,000-square-foot plant to better meet the needs of its customers. This facility houses 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills, 7-Axis CNC mill-turn machines, CNC Lathes, and Swiss machines. Most importantly, PolyTech employs plastic engineers and machinists that strive to deliver the highest quality products to its customers.
In 2022, Ensinger Precision purchased PolyTech Industrial, creating a powerhouse of a partnership with the facilities, talents, and invaluable experience of all involved to best serve our customers.
